How to Find Things Online Fast

How to take your online search to the next level? Most of the time, we know that the information we are looking for is out there but we cannot find it.

We all know that Google is the most popular search engine on Earth. Yet, sometimes, the answers are not there. When you search smartly, you will find what you are looking for faster.

There are billions of web pages out there and one of them has the information you want. The internet can literally absorb you if you do not know how to use it smartly.

supports three SOURCE, which is an information hub for Alberta's third sector. It collects publications for, by, and about nonprofits and social services in the province. The casino thinks it is a great idea and should be more popular.

Here are a few things you can try to make your search better.

  1. Focus More on the Search Terms
  2. You can make your search a lot better by choosing the right search terms you put in the box. For example, you can add more works to make things clear.

  3. Use a Good Search Engine
  4. Search engines are like stores. If you want to buy a watch, you would not enter every shop and ask “do you sell watches?”. You will definitely go to a place that sells watches. The same can be applied when you look for something specific online. You can save a lot of time by using the right search engine.

  5. Use Many Search Engines at Once
  6. There is only one internet. However, there are many search engines and they work differently. Therefore, if you are looking for the best salsa recipe, it might be found on a certain search engine and not the others.
Even after checking some recipes, how would you be sure there are not better ones out there without taking a look?

Try running the same search on many sites at the same time, which can be difficult. Also, you can use metasearch, which does the same thing and provides you with a wide range of results to choose the best for you.

  7. Remember Where You Put Your Stuff
  8. Always try to remember where you put things. It makes your life easier and saves you a lot of time and energy. That can also be applied when you try to rediscover pages you already found once.

You will save a lot of time when you realize that it is easy to use the bookmark tool or add pages to your favorites. This way you will cut time searching for what you have already found once.

Also, it is important to keep your bookmarks as organized as possible. Create subfolders to group your bookmarks to make searching for pages even easier.

If you have many computers and use all of them, some online services store your bookmarks on all of them. Therefore, instead of waiting until you have access to your other devices, you can check your pages from any device.

  9. Use a Search Bar
  10. Building search into your browser makes your searching faster. For example, you can Try Yahoo or Google toolbars to have permanent search boxes whenever you need one.

Surprisingly, Firefox and Internet Explorer are great when it comes to search bars. In the top right of each one, there are the most common search engines that you can use.
